Unspool Terms of Service

Unspool is a CBT-informed self-practice app. It is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, crisis care, or emergency support.

Who Operates Unspool

Unspool is operated by Flipior LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. Contact: admin@flipior.com.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms govern your use of Unspool. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

No Medical or Emergency Advice

Unspool does not replace a licensed clinician, therapist, physician, emergency service, or crisis hotline. Do not rely on Unspool for an emergency or a medical decision.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, seek immediate help. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Outside the United States, contact local emergency services or a local crisis hotline.

AI-Assisted Features

Unspool may use AI to help organize user-entered text, identify possible cognitive jumps, draft balanced statements, or summarize recent mood records. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and is not professional advice, medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for human judgment.

After the in-app disclosure and your explicit permission, AI requests are processed through the Flipior LLC-operated Unspool proxy hosted by Cloudflare and Google Gemini API (paid). You can choose local-only processing or withdraw AI permission in About & Safety. Do not enter information you do not want these providers to process.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to use Unspool only for lawful, personal purposes and not to:

• Use Unspool to harm yourself or others.
• Use Unspool as a substitute for emergency or professional care.
• Disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or AI proxy.
• Submit illegal content or content that infringes another person's rights.
• Use automated systems to access the AI proxy without permission.

Local Records

Unspool may store practice records locally on your device. You are responsible for securing your device. You can clear local practice records from About & Safety in the app.

Free and Plus Plans

Free includes up to 15 complete AI-guided exercises per calendar month. Plus includes up to 150 per calendar month while the subscription entitlement is active. Local fallback exercises remain available when the allowance is exhausted or AI is unavailable.

Plus is offered through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. The monthly option renews monthly. The annual option renews annually and may include a seven-day introductory free trial for eligible customers when that offer is shown by the applicable store. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by country, region, currency, or tax.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Account. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in the applicable store's settings and restore eligible purchases inside Unspool.

Monthly AI allowances reset by calendar month and do not roll over. Failed AI requests and local fallback results do not consume the allowance.

Privacy

Use of Unspool is also governed by the Unspool Privacy Policy.

Availability and Changes

Flipior LLC may change, suspend, or discontinue features. AI-assisted features may be unavailable because of network conditions, provider availability, rate limits, configuration, or maintenance. These Terms may be updated from time to time; the date above indicates the latest revision.

Intellectual Property

Unspool, including its design, text, software, and brand elements, is owned by Flipior LLC or its licensors. You retain responsibility for content you enter and grant Flipior LLC only the limited right to process it as needed to provide app functionality.

Disclaimers

Unspool is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Flipior LLC does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, clinically appropriate, or suitable for your circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flipior LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, emotional distress, lost profits, or other damages arising from use of or inability to use Unspool. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using Unspool at any time. Flipior LLC may suspend access to features when there is misuse, legal risk, security risk, or a violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence applies.
