Unspool – CBT-informed Self-Practice App

These Terms of Service govern your use of Unspool. By using Unspool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Unspool is a CBT-informed self-practice app that helps users organize thoughts, postpone repetitive worries, delay urges, and record moods.
Unspool is not a medical service. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, clinical judgment, crisis care, or emergency support. The app is for self-practice and journaling support only.
Unspool does not replace a licensed clinician, therapist, physician, emergency service, or crisis hotline.
If you may harm yourself or someone else, seek immediate help. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are outside the United States, contact local emergency services or a local crisis hotline.
Do not rely on Unspool for emergency situations or medical decisions.
Unspool may include AI-assisted features that help organize user-entered text, identify possible cognitive jumps, draft balanced statements, or summarize recent mood records.
You agree to use Unspool only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:
Unspool may store practice records locally on your device. You are responsible for securing your device and controlling access to it.
You can clear local practice records from About and Safety in the app.
Your use of Unspool is also governed by the Unspool Privacy Policy: https://flipior.com/unspool/privacy.html
The Privacy Policy explains what information is stored locally, what may be sent for AI assistance, and what choices you have.
Unspool may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. AI-assisted features may be unavailable due to network issues, provider availability, rate limits, configuration changes, or other technical reasons.
We may update the app, these Terms, or the Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Unspool, including its design, text, software, and brand elements, is owned by FLIPIOR LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Unspool or its intellectual property.
You retain responsibility for the content you enter into the app. You grant Unspool the limited right to process your content only as needed to provide app functionality, including local storage and AI assistance when requested.
Unspool is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that Unspool will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, clinically appropriate, or suitable for your specific needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FLIPIOR LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, emotional distress, lost profits, or other damages arising from your use of or inability to use Unspool.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
You may stop using Unspool at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to features if we believe there has been misuse, legal risk, security risk, or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
