ReadEase is an accessibility tool designed to assist with reading and writing. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes. You agree not to use the app to process illegal, harmful, or explicitly offensive content.

2. AI-Generated Content

ReadEase utilizes artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to simplify, summarize, explain, and polish text.

• Accuracy: While we strive to ensure the AI preserves the original meaning of the text, AI can occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results ("hallucinations").
• Liability: You should always use your own judgment when relying on AI-generated content. We are not liable for any misunderstandings or consequences arising from the use of the simplified or polished text.

3. Fair Use of AI Services

ReadEase currently provides access to AI features free of charge. To ensure the service remains available for everyone, we reserve the right to implement rate-limiting or access controls to prevent abuse. If we detect automated, scripted, or abusive usage from your device, we may temporarily or permanently restrict your access to the AI features.

4. Intellectual Property

The ReadEase app, its original design, and its code are our intellectual property. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the app's source code or design without our explicit permission. You retain full ownership of any original text you write within the app.

5. Limitation of Liability

ReadEase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be completely error-free or that the AI services will be available 100% of the time. We are not liable for any data loss (e.g., loss of your reading history if your device breaks) or indirect damages resulting from your use of the app.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
